The Sun Valley Teen Center gives teens the opportunity to play a variety of sports, learn computer skills, work on homework, interact with peers and mentors, and learn career and life skills. The Center provides teens with a place to spend time both after school and during the summer – a safe alternative to hanging out on the streets or unsupervised. Designed to mark the center of Sun Valley Park, the building serves as a hub for the BMX track, baseball diamond and skate park.

The project includes areas for storage and restrooms, television viewing, computer work, a snack bar/sales area and office area. A large roll-up door allows daylighting and excellent access between the building and the patio that overlooks the park.
